Tristan Leigh is a 5th Year Senior LT out of Clemson that was a highly touted Four Star Recruit out of high school. He started 11 games at LT his senior year, and on tape I saw a player with lots of physical tools but none of the mentality to use them. Against Miami, the Clemson OL was consistently overwhelmed by Miami's rush and Leigh did not offer much help as the anchor on the left side. He looks slow getting to his spots and lazy looking for work and getting to the 2nd level. You'll find lots of scouts talking about his potential but very few talking about his production. Against LSU, the line fared better but the tendencies were the same. He can pull but often doesn't connect, he can get to the spot, but doesn't hold the block. He looked to me like a blocker who was surviving rather than dictating the action. His best chance of making an NFL roster is positional flexibility and probably kicking inside. I'm not sure there's much here.
